Sometimes you stumble upon quotes that makes you stop for a moment. That happened to me the other day when I read this:

"Sometimes when you’re in a dark place, you think you’ve been buried, but actually you’ve been planted"

How beautiful is that?! The main reason why it hit hard is the strength of the message. I recall the moments when I felt buried and all the times I came to a point where I gained the energy to lift myself up again.  

True growth happens when you hit the the rock bottom but somehow get that energy to pick yourself up again. That's when your inner super power kicks in. That super power that comes from realising you are tired of your own dwelling and low energy due to external events kicking you into the grave you allowed yourself thinking you were buried in. That's when the true growth starts to happen, not because someone is telling you, because YOU are feeling it needs to happen. This is the time to collect all the courage you need in order to be ready to enjoy the ride towards transformation and to move into your next chapter in life. Here is what's going to happen. 

Spoiler alert, your new life is going to cost you your old life. Yes, read that again loud.

Are you ready to make that trade? That's why I mentioned courage above. You will need a lot of it because it’s going to cost you your comfort zone, your sense of direction, your friendships and relationships. Even more frightening, it’s going to cost you being liked and understood.

I'm telling you, it's not going to be easy and it will shake the old version of you big time. However, the beauty of this story is that non of that will matter because those that are meant for you, they are going to meet you on the other side. With that courage as a driving factor, you’re going to build a new comfort zone around all the things that move you forward.

After thinking you have been buried, you will notice the fact that you actually have been planted because instead of being liked, you’re going to be loved. Instead of being understood you’re going to be seen. All you’re going to lose, is what you built for a person you no longer are.
